vision broadband phone (2006)
|
This project was developed as an entry in a competition for a national telecommunications company. Two students designed a home phone system and navigation interface.
The advantage of this concept for the consumer would be the seamless connection between personal communication in and out of the home. By synchronizing broadband and cell phone transmissions all incoming cell phone calls made to occupants of the home are transferred to the base Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) unit for significant cost savings and convenience. The telecommunications company benefits by releasing products and services in cost saving packages. This marketing strategy not only increases their customer loyalty but also will attract a larger and more mobile customer base. |
