gnctr team zissou graphics and technical exhibition (2005)

Carleton University engineers participate in an annual national competition -- the Great Northern Concrete Toboggan Race (GNCTR). For this competition, teams must design and build a toboggan with a concrete base that slides down a hill. In addition, a super structure and breaking system are mandatory. The GNCTR awards points for costume, team theme, and display at a technical exhibition.

In third year, I worked as the industrial designer on a GNCTR team that adopted the theme from the movie The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou. My roles on this team included designing apparel for the team members, logo and media design, sponsor exposure, overall branding, as well as collaboration on the display for the exhibition in Montreal.
