gnctr team zissou graphics and technical exhibition (2005)

Although the branding was quite simple in that it was heavily inspired by the movie, the exhibit display was to be very unique and impressive. A seven-panel system was designed for the walls of the exhibit all connected by pin hinges to facilitate transportation and assembly. Two large columns were constructed at the front of the exhibit (designed to fit within the allotted 10' x 10' area) to: house computer monitors showing film and stills of the team's progress on the project, provide height for team banners to attract attention to the display, and house two custom built fish tanks. To provide the viewer with a 360 degree perspective, the toboggan was placed on a rotating platform, a feat which had never been attempted in the competition's history.
