cobre luminaire (2006)
|
This project was supervised by a professional lighting designer at the School of Industrial Design. Using the design process the students developed complete functioning models of luminaires.
For this assignment, the emphasis was placed on the integration of the aesthetic and function of the luminaire, as well as the effect of the rays of light. Following numerous design ideas, a final concept for an outdoor pendant luminaire was refined to produce a model. For its physical properties, copper was selected to provide reflective colour qualities and outdoor durability. The metal properties were enhanced in the triangle design's geometric form. |
